Sharptalk Handcrafts It's been raining here all day. A nice day for knitting. I am almost done my afghan for the motor home. I will be starting a new project for a friend tomorrow after spinning class. I am looking forward to them both. The stand for the loom is missing some pieces, so I need to take that in to class with me to get checked out. Pictures tomorrow!

Sharptalk Handcrafts I just got a call that the loom is in! I will get it tomorrow morning and learn how to use it. Tomorrow will be a good day. :) Now, on to carding that wool I teased last night.
Sharptalk Handcrafts Unfortunately, the loom is not in yet. Last night I finished "teasing" the wool which loosened the strands. Today I will card what was teased and get it ready to spin.

Sharptalk Handcrafts I went to my class this morning. It was a lot of fun. First we learned to card our washed wool. Then the teacher put us on several different types of wheels to practice spinning and see which wheels we were more comfortable with. I will post pictures to the album soon!

Sharptalk Handcrafts I spent today knitting and researching (driving around) weaving looms. I actually bought one! It will arrive in about 2 weeks. I am working on a baby sweater in red with colorful flecks in it. I am also working on a stunning wrap! Can't wait to get these to finished and up in the shop!
